How do I fix the eyelets ?:

The turning of the eyelets is doing quite well.

 

Just a little bit apart with the normal pliers and then turn over with a hammer. In between, put a piece of the leather or fabric so the eyelets will not scratch.

 

You do not need a special tool!

 

Fits for cord ca.12-14mm flat
