What if the zipper breaks? What do I do now...?

YES, it's often like this: we buy an expensive winter jacket or coat and a few months later the first hassle:

-Zipper is stuck

-Zipper hacks

-Zipper always opens or doesn't close properly

It's particularly bad if the zipper is broken and you can no longer close the jacket or bag. 
Most of the time it's not the zipper itself, but the small zipper (or slider) that has worn out or simply become loose over time.

How can you save your jacket quickly and, above all, cost-effectively?

Good news: if the teeth aren't broken, you can still save the zipper!

Sometimes just replacing the zipper is enough.

This is a special zipper for 2-way zippers with plastic teeth 8mm, number 8D 
(letter "D" means "Down" i.e. lower zipper for 2-way zippers) But they all also fit upwards.

 

Most jackets from well-known brands and manufacturers have zippers with plastic teeth.
